Silverlight: Control Pain

I have to agree 100% with what the ISV’s are saying about Silverlight controls.  It’s a real pain today to build Silverlight applications.  The sooner we get a rich set of controls, control skinning (does this mean styles and templates as per WPF) and data binding the easier life will be.  If Microsoft get the Silverlight 1.1 API right, building WPF and Silverlight applications should be very similar, and mean that from a Microsoft product perspective they can finally complete with Flash/Flex.
