October: .NET Meetup, London

Tonight there was another .NET Meetup at the Lab49 London offices. I think the general impression was that tonight’s meeting was the best so far.  We spent 5-10 minutes showing off a few WPF and Silverlight demo’s, and then go stuck into some C# coding that lead down the inevitable LINQ path and moved into using various tools to look at the resulting application: ILDASM, Reflector and CLRProfiler.

Since we were coding LINQ, we obviously had to take a look at SyncLINQ.

Coding standards came up in the discussion tonight – IDesign is one well known coding standard.

Given that Daniel attended the Microsoft Financial Services Industry Council today, I thought I’d blog a very early preview of an application we’re working on internally:
