That post is nonsense. Emacs.NET exists because MS are moving away from .NET code… huh?
It’s possible that the wider project that Doug & co are working on could be a new Visual Studio shell. And that they are interested in a Emacs style variant of this for Sys admins etc..
That’s silly. Emacs.NET is going to be a fun project for some people, but MS aren’t about to throw away years of work on their platform because some devs want to play with lisp.
