Excited about Silverlight 2.0?

Pete Brown has an interesting posting on Silverlight 2.0. “Silverlight is a cross-platform version of WPF, optimized for the browser” is a pretty good summary of what Silverlight 2.0 should deliver. Is Sync going to be Microsoft’s Silverlight equivalent of AIR/Gear?

Update: Silverlight to power the NBC 2008 Olympic site. I’m guessing the site will use Silverlight 1.0.
