Caplin Trader, the SDP Standard?
Although this posting is rather old, it does hit towards Caplin Trader becoming almost the standard SDP platform for banks. A recent press release shows Barcap has gone with Caplin, as is Calyon. UniCredit’s has selected Caplin Trader for its SDP FX platform. I’m not sure what JPMorgan Express use these days, originally it was a home grown WebLogic application. Lisewise, unclear what Deutsche Autobahn is using (Java home grown application?)
JP Morgan is retiring JPMorgan Express and has lauched MorganDirect as their SDP platform for FX and IRD. Its a Java fat client developed in house.
Does Caplin Trader really work somewhere ?
