UXA
With the ever increasing move of corporates to deploy RIA technology to the web platform I believe there is a real need for consultancies to transform themselves into User Experience Agencies – designers, strategists, usability experts, user centered developers and legacy integrators under one roof. Just compare RIA solution developed by software engineers to solution developed using a UXA – its a black and white comparison. I’m not sure WAGILE is the way forwards for UXA. What we need is Agile + UX using Lean practices. What we know that doesn’t work is a UX waterfall team that is attempting to feed an agile (ish) development team. But we do know we need sketching and prototyping in Agile + UX land.
