Snow Reading – Silverlight Developement on OSX, MEF, Win7 and More

So London is getting hit by a bit of snow tonight. A few hours ago I measured 3.5″ outside in the garden which is going to make the commutee to work tomorrow…interesting! Anyway, here’s are few things to read if you are snowed in:

  • Russinovich: A possible cure for exploitable heap corruption in Windows 7
  • PowerPivot FAQ
  • Mocking framework comparison
  • Using the “secret” Windows 7 Problem Steps Recorder to Create Step by Step Screenshot Documents
  • POCO Proxies Part 2: Serializing POCO Proxies
  • MEF and Prism exploration, MEF module loading
  • Can a Mac-Only Shop Do Silverlight Development? – Today I use a MacBook Pro and either Bootcamp to Win7 or VMWare for Silverlight development. Maybe I should try eclipse4SL
  • Silverlight 4 Screencasts – the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF)
  • Parallel Performance Case Study: Finding References to Parallel Extensions
