It’s All About Retrospectives – Plan of Action

Few agile team appear to run retrospectives. Primarily because I suspect they don’t see any value – how could they when they’ve never run a retrospective :) Another problem I suspect “agile” teams have is that they are actually wagile, coupled with the fact that the ScrumMaster hasn’t allocated time for the meeting.

Anyway, I am sure there are lots of reasons why retrospectives are not run. If however you do run a retrospective, consider trying the Plan of Action. 10minutes per step is about right from the retrospectives I’ve run. I think one of the benefits of Plan of Action is that the team is forced to discuss the various issues from different slants (user experience, business analysis, development and testing) as a group, allowing focus on process improvement.
