Single Dealer Platform: Google Chart Tools

I wonder if Google Chart Tools will help in reducing the build cost of a Single Dealer Platform (SDP)?

Sure, but you have to send to Google – do you care?
Won’t something like SMILE (http://www.simile-widgets.org/) be a little more appropriate – open source, hosted at your box, with you in control of changes new futures?
