Optimizing High-Performance Trading Solutions – An Engineering Perspective

So today I spoke at the North American Trading Architecture Summit 2011. The talk had a pretty good turnout, generating a number of interesting discussion post the talk – both hedge funds and investment banks. I believe Waters is planning to upload the slides from all the talk soon. Solace Systems, Microsoft .NET TPL Dataflows, Paremus Service Fabric and Akka were all part of the demo’s shown during the talk. Initial feedback from the talk appears to be positive.

Update: Rob Daly, US and online Editor of Waters Technology attended my presentation and tweeted the following from his account (http://twitter.com/#!/rob_daly):

“Listening to Lab49′s Matt Davey on delivering low-latency from an engineering perspective. #NATAS”
