Flex 4.5 Mobile: Thoughts and Reading
The big questions I have around Flex 4.5 Mobile is whether the performance will be achieved on devices, or are we better off “going native”/HTML(5) when building mobile solutions. Curious on views.

Note the article on “Appcelerator vs. PhoneGap vs. Adobe Air” by Tony Lukasavage was written in January. Flex 4.5 was in very early beta at that point and AIR 2.5 was out for Android, but for iOS you had to use the iPhone Packager that was still targeting AIR 2.0 and was very, very slow compared to optimizations made for AIR 2.7. Despite that it’s still a great article and Tony also has several others going into more detail comparing PhoneGap & Appcelerator .
