2006 Year of the Commodities?

There’s a buzz about commodities currently on the street. Rumour is that Lehman Brothers is staffing up its desk, as are the other investment banks – although they’re have to splash a little cash. Citigroup has already hired a number of people for its desk.

Lehman’s recruitment site implies they are going to go the “normal” route and use C# as the front-end to their application, with Java as the language of choice on the server. Hope Finetix are speaking to these desks.
