Hi. I like your blog very much and was wondering if you could give me some pointers (no pun intended). I am trying to implement my own Excel RTDServer at the little hedge fund for which I work. I was wondering if you have any experience implementing RTDServer? My RTDServer is written in C# and it works, but it’s not working very well. I want to know the best way to handle the data in an efficient way. Do you know about this subject or know of any relevant references? Many thanks.

Mr./Ms. Davey (apologies, it’s not obvious from your “about” information”),
My name is Tim McNamara, and I’m the media director for DigitalGrit, an interactive marketing agency. I’m contacting you on behalf of one of our clients, DataSynapse.
First off, I’d like to thank you for including a reference, with various links, to DataSynapse in your post “Virtualization” (07/06/2006). Your mention of DataSynapse is greatly appreciated. However, during a routine review of our inbound traffic and links, we noticed that the existing links that you have to DataSynapse are not necessarily up-to-date. I’m writing to request that you please update the existing links on your site with more accurate, information. Specifically, DataSynapse has a page that is uniquely relevant to the financial services sector here:
Perhaps one of the existing links (maybe the one that is currently anchored with the “virtualization” text) could be routed to this page instead?
Thank you in advance for you time and consideration. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the email or number below.
VP, Director of Media Services

If this e-mail has reached you in error, please respond to this message indicating such, and you will not be contacted again in reference to this matter.

You get a post about your links “not being up to date” from someone who changed their URLs, and in the post they fail to link to your Virtualization.
